Well my review got aged out so I figured they probably improved since my last 1 star review.... They've somehow declined severely. Literally every single aspect of their business is bottom of the barrel. They don't start your sandwich until you walk in for online orders and even with you standing right there they completely mess it up. I watched the worker absolutely smash my sandwich. So bad I could pull her fingerprints from it. I don't know why I gave them another shot. I am writing this review specifically to remind myself to not do that again. I didn't even eat the sandwich, threw it away outside the store entrance. They don't do refunds or anything to make mess ups right. It was worth wasting $10 to staple this experience to my memory.
Stopped here while passing through on i5. First impression, looked very clean. Gabe was working and was extremely friendly and talkative. Sandwiches were delicious. As we ate, more customers came in and it would have been nice for Gabe to have some help but he managed well and maintained great customer service. Such a nice kid! Bathrooms… not the best.
Ordered online , got there order was not ready was told to wait for order but only had 30 mins for my lunch break. 20 mins later sandwich was ready but was wrong. Didn't have enough time to get it fix so I settled. Settling was the wrong choice as it made me sick. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN! Not worth the hot garbage I ate.
The two workers were in the back messing around and took forever to come out and take our order. When we were finally asked what we wanted we had to tell them our order 4 times and the worker repeatedly kept asking us to repeat ourselves.
One word... Katie. Katie is awesome. When the online system kicked my order out, I went to the Cottage Grove Subway because I wasn't sure if I was charged or not since I had already entered my credit card info. The employees at the Cottage Grovw location didn't know what to do and wouldn't even honor the online promotion so that I could still get my sandwiches. Instead I was told there was nothing they could do and that maybe my order had been routed to the Creswell store because apparently that happens quite often, according to the employees. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to and I was told that the manager was gone but they could leave a message for them to call me later. I asked why they wouldn't honor the coupon and girl said they aren't allowed to honor online coupons. So I called Creswell again and asked if they would honor the online coupon. Katie offered to call her manager and ask. THAT is good customer service! She called me back and said they would be willing to honor the coupon so I gladly drove all the way to Creswell to do business with their Subway. Katie me two outstanding sandwiches and treated me with kindness and consideration, which is more than I can say for the employees in Cottage Grove. That location is consistently disappointing. Thank you Katie for making this right and for making my day! You rock!!
